# Ship to Germany from Japan

Germany is named in EMS zone 3. The EU €150 story is unverified. Pedals still need a 100 V check.

Estimates only. Not a quote, not a customs ruling, and not an offer to sell or ship. Confirm fees, prohibitions, and duty with the proxy and with destination customs. Figures can change after the last-verified date.

The Japan Post EMS country list names Germany in the Europe section of zone 3. The zone is named, so a covered weight can be shown as verified. It is still Japan Post's list rate, not a proxy invoice. Buyee says alcohol above 24% ABV cannot be shipped to Germany. Tenso marks DHL unavailable and Japan Post available, so whisky is blocked and sake at or below 24% can stay on Japan Post in this model.

Competitor sites say the EU's €150 relief ends in July 2026. No primary EU legal page was checked, so this page has no source URL for that claim. It is not a tax calculation.

Effects pedals and other mains gear bought for a German socket still come from a 100 V country. Read the label. Export can be allowed and the pedal can still be the wrong voltage.
