Why the item price lies
r/AnimeFigures describes prize and ichiban stock on Mercari and Yahoo Auctions as much cheaper than buying the same figure abroad. 'Much cheaper' is their wording, not a measured discount. Add the proxy fee and postage before you repeat it.
The Japan Post EMS country list names Great Britain in zone 3. The EMS number in the sample can be shown as verified for a covered weight. It is still Japan Post's list rate.
Steps
- Copy the yen price. Read the price on the listing yourself. JapanLanded does not fetch the page.
- Weigh it, or say you didn't. Enter grams. If you leave weight blank, the tool uses an unsourced placeholder and labels it.
- Read pay-now separately from arrival. The partial sum is not a landed total. Duty amounts are not calculated.
- Check whether it can leave Japan. Lithium batteries, alcohol, and 100 V gear each have their own note. The result is not a customs clearance.
- Order on the proxy's own site. Outbound links are public pages until affiliate programs are enrolled. We never take payment.
Questions
Do prize figures have batteries?
Most do not. If a piece includes a lithium cell, set lithium to installed and read the Japan Post conditions. A spare cell is refused.
