Ship to the United Kingdom from Japan
The UK is named in EMS zone 3. Sake can stay on Japan Post in the copied tables. Whisky does not.
Zone 3 (Oceania, Canada, Mexico, Middle East, Europe), assignment: named. Region label: Europe.
The Japan Post EMS country list names Great Britain in the Europe section of zone 3. The covered area is all regions, excepting territories overseas. The zone is named, so a covered weight can be shown as verified. It is still Japan Post's list rate, not a proxy invoice.
In 2023 a ZenMarket Reddit account said DHL into the UK had stopped for whisky and that sake could go by EMS. That is a dated anecdote. Tenso's copied row marks both Japan Post and DHL available for the United Kingdom. Buyee's general rule still sends 24.1% ABV and above by DHL. Japan Post's own rule is still 24% ABV or below.
Import duty, VAT or GST, and the carrier's disbursement fee are not calculated. No tariff rate is stored, and yen is not converted into the destination currency.
No duty schedule is stored for United Kingdom. Check that country's customs authority. Do not reuse the US or EU notes as if they applied here.
